Selection guide: Ad Creative

Artificin selection guide

Choose an ad tool around the asset and the revision

Practical selection advice. The suggestions below are not hands-on test results.

01

Your product must stay accurate

Compare the output with your actual product photo. Check packaging, logo, colour and any visible text. Reject a polished image if it changes what you sell.

02

One campaign, several formats

List the placements before generating. Check how a design survives a square, portrait and landscape crop; a resize that clips the offer creates more editing work.

03

An editable result

Decide who will revise the headline, price and disclaimer. Check whether the tool supports your editing process, and include revisions in the credit budget.

Example brief: a reusable bottle launch

A preparation exercise you can run with your own product. No output or performance result is implied.

  1. Supply one product photo, your logo, the exact approved offer and a landing-page URL. Do not let the tool invent a discount or testimonial.
  2. Request one square image and one vertical version with the same headline. Keep the product and offer unchanged.
  3. Inspect text, packaging and crop at delivery size. Record each failed attempt and the time spent fixing it.
  4. Export the accepted files and check the ad platform’s specifications. Evaluate campaign results separately after an appropriately controlled campaign.

Common problems and what to check

The product or offer changes

Compare against your source assets. Edit or reject inaccurate outputs; do not treat a plausible generated detail as a product fact.

The resized version loses its message

Review each aspect ratio independently. Leave room for platform overlays and use a shorter headline where necessary.

A useful test before you subscribe

Give each shortlisted tool the same approved offer and assets. Record accepted formats, revision time, total credits and export restrictions. This is an evaluation method, not an Artificin performance score.

Frequently asked questions

Does an ad generator also publish my campaign?

Creative generation and ad delivery are separate capabilities. A tool may produce platform-sized files without connecting to your advertising account. Check for a documented publishing integration before relying on it.

How should I compare ad-generation costs?

Count all attempts and revisions needed to produce the final usable assets. Compare that total with the plan’s credits, export allowances and billing period. A monthly equivalent billed annually is not a month-to-month price.

Can generated testimonials be used as customer evidence?

A generated person or script is not evidence of a real customer experience. Use substantiated claims and obtain the necessary permissions for any genuine customer material.
